but these type of people are now regarded with cynicism.. sincerity is always doubted..and not without evidence, as scores of playboys and play-girls out there just say the words that youve been meaning to hear without any actual sincerity.. thus the phrase "whisper sweet nothings"
however, upon deeper inspection, there seems to be another way to show affection and love, and its not through elaborate confessions, but quite the opposite... usually done by the shy, or those not used to displaying emotion, they show affection and care through "the little things" that they do...
by buying you a keychain of "Edna Mode" from the Incredibles because she was your favorite character in the movie
by waiting for you at the door when your class finishes
by buying you a bar of chocolate just because you happened to mention that you havent eaten chocolate in a long time
by bringing you his favorite jacket because he knows you get cold easily
by filling up your MP3 player with songs that he keeps hearing you sing
by reminding you to take your medicine
by suggesting you skip training for the day because he sees that you're tired
by bringing you to watch his friends play footsal cause you've just started playing football
by telling you that theres a sale at the bookstore cause he knows you love reading
by pasting up a cute picture on your desktop at work to see you smile
by messaging you goodluck before your big interview
by saying your name in his prayers...
ill take someone who says "i care" in his own obscure ways than someone who shouts "i love you" but doesnt mean it anyday..
