haha, i know i know 1-1 is a DRAW Fae, not a WIN, but fuck that shit, this was against MANGGIS ANGELS!! the last time they played against pixies, Angels defenders stamped on a pixie striker! and they play body contact!!
so before the match, our two coaches, Jul and Cliff were conveying team strategies and it seemed pretty clear on each Blitz players faces that we were very intimidated by the Angels... so our coaches told us not to worry, noone was expecting much of us since it was our first game, but at the same time, they wouldnt tolerate any slacking off either =)
the game was divided into 30-mins per half, and we were doing a 4-3-1-2 formation, and since our usual goalie couldnt make it to the game, we had to make do with one of the newbies, Linie..
i wasnt in the starting eleven thank god!
we were all pretty hyped up cause we were wearing our new jerseys which looked pretty sweet =p but then we saw the Angels, especially the infamous defender, and i realized that it was Diana, the Bruneian singer... she was by far the most 'grown-up' of the whole team... i thanked god i wasnt any of our strikers, Yanti and Chit...
there were a lot of people that came to cheer Blitz FC on... i had my own personal cheer-leader, Miss Pom-poms imported form the US, Miss Melina Jaini =)))) u know i love u girl!! ajib came too, he said he read my blog hahaha
and out of the people to show up to cheer me on was my older brothers best fren, Jus.. haha.. or maybe he just wants to check out the competiotion for DHS Pixies..
the game started off at 5pm and the cool thing was we had these really professional looking referees!.. they were 3 of them! and they were wearing the yellow referee uniforms.. we were like "Cool! we have an ACTUAL referee and two linesmen!" they even had those little flags!! when Angels played Pixies they had a guy in a pink shirt to referee! hehe
not to bore u with details so lets just say Blitz scored the first goal!! On around the 15th minute,Chit scored with a cool assist by Ruby... but the funny thing was the players on the field was so nervous and keyed up they didnt celebrate, jst got back into position... but the players on the sidelines were jumping around like mad women! hehe.. but Angels got a goal in 5 mins after...
then suddenly, Coach saw that our stiker Yanti was slowing down, so he looked at the substitutes to replace her... i avoided eyecontact with coach but damnit he went "Fae! ganti yanti." i was like "wth?? shes a striker!" Coach just smiled and signaled the ref..
so there i was in the field, and the infamous defender had a glint in her eyes when i walked to take my position, the glint said something along the lines of "Im gna eat youuuuuu".. *shudder*
had a shot at the goal, but was saved by Angels goalkeeper... and i kept hearing Jus yelling out "GO ADIK SI PING!!!!!" hahha crazy shit..
in the second half i played left-wing, not striker thank god.. tee hee
the funny thing jua is that Fae is funnily very verbal.. and there was this hilarious moment where my workmate Zie, who is the most EVEN-TEMPERED person i know.. like, she doesnt lose her temper at all... and she was playing right wing and she was passed the ball... then she was attacked by two of the Angels and was roughly hustled sampai i think ia ter-gugur... she got up and terus yelled "THAT WAS RUDE!!!!".... the blitzers were like, momentarily stunned that we shut up for a sec... hahahahahaha that was the funniest moment of the match.. si Zie ber-teriak!!! hhahahahahaha
so yea shush ali, i didnt fall down =p
