exhausted.
first day of Uni was annoyingly disorganized.
the start of the day was pretty smooth as i went into the right lecture room for my State and Society lecture, thanks to directions from a fellow MD-ian.
mental note:ask for directions if lost
but a few of the other students werent as lucky and some came nearly 30mins late.. and there werent enough chairs to go around, so some people had to stand! kesian.. there was one guy who had curly hair like Reza.. actually, he looked like a cross between Reza and Dopey from Snow White... eh jahat eh ngucap orang... astah..
me and Melina looked at the Course outline of our State and Society subject and guess what name we see in the list of books needed to be read? Haralambos ....
holy mother of all that is good....
it was the same name of the author of our A Level Sociology textbook! and after Alevel Socio, i never wanted to seee that textbook ever again!!! aaarrrgghhh..
*runs away from evil textbook*
after State and Society, me and Mel went our separate ways,(i think she went to her MATH class TEE-HEE).. I met up with Narissa who needed help changing her course,from TESL to my course- English Language Studies.. while i showed her my timetable, i realized that i had a slot in my timetable that had a clash of not TWO subjects, but THREE! haha three subjects in the same hour... and since i didnt have a time-turner like Hermione Granger, i had to hunt down the Assistant Registrar of my Faculty to see what could do...
poor woman! she had a headache because of me as she had to track down all these lecturers by phone to get them to change the course times, =p as Ajib said, im trouble, just like on my first day of registration when i payed with a cheque, not cash like normal people and the finance people had to be consulted and red tape had to be pluoghed through =s yes yes im a handful.. thats what people tell me...
the day went on and on, me and Narissa chasing down lecturers and officers, looking for our classes, finding it, realizing that it was the WRONG class, then going to the lecturers door to DEMAND to know where the class was being held, then panya "NO CLASSES TILL THE SECOND WEEK OF SEMEMSTER"... layaaaaaaannnnn XD XD XD
me and Narissa got so sick of walking around the goddamn big campus in heels and getting hopelessly lost that we decided to ditch school,so we went to gadong... and it was perfectly legal cause it was lunchtime =p we 'angkut'ed Ajib too..
then it was time for our Logic and Thinking lecture... and OH MY GOD... the lecturer was MUMBLING and we did not understand ONE word! me Mel Shai and Yani ended up reading "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus"
so to sum up my first day of University where i ended up to only two lectures?
i think ill just stay home tommorrow...
