anyhoo, we're gonna be off to town in a moment, hooking up with Bazilah to have a shopping spree.. saddening fact is that it wont be a shopping spree for the soul, but more like a shopping spree foe those who claim to be of blood, but we only get to see during family functions that by chance both parties made an exception to attend...
don't get me wrong, i dont mind shopping for family members, but only for family members that know your REAL name, not the name that you siblings bellow out when company comes over... and if they know why i'm in Cardiff in the first place would be an added bonus.. which is to do a degree on a scholarship, not a private-funded-9-month-holiday-masquerading-as-further-education kinda thing.. its tight enough living in a foreign country on a monthly allowance without layan-ing the requests of your aunts asking for Tie Rack merchandise that i have to say is hugely overpriced if converted to Bruneian dollars..
and what about your brood of cousins who tormented you in your childhood but now are begging for that new Nike football kit 'only found in the U.K'?
and after spending money on souvenirs for the 'family', will i have enough money to buy fun things for the friends close to the heart?
urgh, the dreaded obligated cause-your-a-first-year shopping spree for the extended family... ANY IDEAS?????????????
