been in Cardiff for exactly 10 days, and my new room is still a HUUUUUUGEEEEEE mess.. for some weird reason, i havent been in my room too much... either out with the housemates, hanging in the living room, or been at work.. i think a part of me is avoiding facing my room, which looks like a moving truck puked its contents onto my floor =p
need to buy stuff to make my room look more livable! when the Miskin St. Posse (hahahaha Umie made that name up =p ) went to IKEA and bought kitchen and house stuff, each of us also bought stuff for our biliks, but i didnt buy much =( i wanna go to IKEA again! *puppy dog eyes trained on Melina*
Our first week here was basically trying to make the 'house' a 'home'... meaning moving stuff from our previous houses, buying LOADS of stuff for the house, and hooking up the phone,internet and TV.. and thanks to mr. Virgin Media, we now have 20MB of broadband and 120 channels of TV!!! haha the first day we got internet ( we didnt have a TV set yet so we couldnt watch TV), the five of us were sat in the living room with each of our laptops, chatting with EACH OTHER online.. hahahaha lame wah kami ah...
sama kami masak masak!!!! the first night we cooked together, we had ONE pot and ONE pan between us, and like, FOUR spoons.. hahah but we managed to whip up a good dinner for sungkai =p now we've stocked up on food and kitchen crockery and TADA, our kitchen is now just like an IKEA kitchen showroom =D
Nira was envious of our new kitchen when she, Maul, C.J and Amin came over to cook and have sungkai together... twas very fun having guests over, and Nira cooked us her awesome mango chicken so that made it more awesome heee.. but we started cooking so late that we only sat down for dinner an hour after sungkai haha.. and the TV had just been set up so everyone got their game on and played the Nintendo Wii!!
with the internet being so fast, i have no excuse not to post =p
